Lochore cancelled but Kettlehill reinstated !!
Due to parking issues Lochore ride on 18th October will be replaced by a pleasure and 30km Competitive at Kettlehill.
It's a pity to lose a potential new route but at least with plenty of time to rearrange we can be sure that the ever popular Kettlehill ride will ensure a good day out for all
Many thanks to Des and Anne Kerr for stepping up to the plate and organinsing this for us once again.

Club AGM 22.2.09
Well, that's the Club AGM over for another year and we voted how many times?!?
I now know how the pupils in my class feel....sore arm!
Marjorie Grant and the multi talented Trailtrow Eriskay took home the
Scottish Exmoor Endurance Trophy
Native pony with most miles gained in classes under 60km.
Well done you two!
Kirstie Graham and Anne Hollingsworth also took home rather large trophies!
"The trophies and smiles are both gleaming out from this photograph, taken at the recent SERC AGM. I am collecting the Highland Challenge Cup for winning the 2day 160k Scottish Championship Class and my mum, Anne Hollingsworth, was awarded the Caroline Bennett Memorial Trophy as crew to the winner.
The Caroline Bennett trophy is in memory of a fabulous crew member, who crewed for Libby Whittome when she won the Highland Challenge Cup in 1996. Caroline Bennett died from cancer at the age of 49. It is a wonderful memorial to her to reward the crew for their part in succeeding at such a distance.
No one enters a 160k ride for a trophy. The reward is the ride itself. But the sparkle and gleam of silverware on a February afternoon transported us back to June at
With the Scottish Championships scheduled for Perth Racecourse on 27&28 June, all SERC members have the chance to share that unique Championship glow, whether riding, helping or a bit of both. Some may bring home awards, but we can all share the reward of being an integral part of the major Scottish endurance event. See you there!"
Kirstie Graham
Well done Team Bella!

Tayside Chair, Sheila has found her new horse!
Or......being an arab, did he find her?!
He certainly charmed her and they 'clicked' so now she's owned!
Meet Al Baraque (Al)
Crabbet x Egyptian Arab

Congratulations Sheila
Tayside Committee, members and
all SERC members wish you the very best with your new boy!
